My Love Is Like Footsteps In The Snow

Recently I've just been told that, the coming new year is a bad year for the Tigers. When I heard that, in my head was like "fuck...can it get any worse than this?". I was sorta hoping badly for things to change for the better. As in, its time for a break,damnit! Enough torturing us tigers already. I know we're the fierce ones and could possibly eat up half of the animals in the zodiac, but cmon.... I dont usually believe in things like that. Its just that when you're hoping for something, and then someone comes up to u and tell u things like its not gonna be good. Whether you're a believer or not, it does get to u.ok, maybe its just me... Whatever it is, 2006 is coming to an end. Time to wrap things up and keep it locked away. Need to clear up some space for 2007.

2006 has been a year of ups and down. I've been up and I've been wayyy down. In the end, I've decided that I dont want to ride the waves anymore. I'm just gonna stick to where I am and not move. In simple terms, I'm being a mediocre. Some people thought that its stupid to do so, but for me,by doing that, I'm happier. At least i'm living the days and appreciating what I've got instead of always wanting more. I'm tired of feeling that feeling when you cant get what you want. And we'll always want what we cant have. And I've developed a liking for being alone most of the time. Its nice. I dont have to layan people when I dont feel like it, I dont have to watch what I say sometimes, I dont have to wonder who's a fake and who's not, I dont have to wonder who's using me. You know what they say,about good guys finishing last,yeah..damn right. There is no justice in life. No right and no wrong. Its just life. Some people's excuse for being an ass, is to survive. Survival of the fittest. Fine, thats all fine. When one day everyone turns into a selfish scumbag, tell me how much you love being on your own. In the end, whats the point of winning when you have no one to share it with. Aight...enough with the bitter plot. Had no freaking idea why I said what I said anyways. I was supposed to update about Velocity but got side tracked. =) have a nice new year.

Ferry Corsten

Why am I smiling like an idiot?

December 15th, 2006. It was Ferry Corsten round 2! One week after his rocking set in Zoukout, he came down to Zouk KL. So it was time for me to go meet up with the one who makes people feel like they're on Fire. I was pretty much without any company for that night, but I went anyways. Not too bad for self-service. I still enjoyed most of the night. 2 thumbs up for Ferry. Hope to see u again.

Zoukout06

As for Zoukout... I'm kinda lazy to update already. I think everyone else has and they've said what I wanted to say anyways. So, what else can I say? It was good, a good new experience for me. Music gets you high[with the help of alco of course], the people and the atmosphere was awesome. I just have to say, I REALLY ENJOYED IT! now I'm just waiting to see who's on the list next year. Pretty interested in going again. Zoukout06 will not be my last year, mark my words =)

So, there, my update on Zoukout. hehehe. And the video of the laser lights I took. Too bad it wasnt during the peak. This was somewhere...during the warm up so the lights weren't very interesting yet. Sorry...Next time next time. =)

The Missing Leg

I am legless. My potato has gone to the workshop and the earliest he can come home is tomorrow evening. Sigh... Take me out people. Since I'm so free, I shall update about Christmas eve first before I forget. So anyways, Christmas eve was spent in my house. No big deal. Just a small gathering of Sound Systems talking and watching tv. After that was supper at Murni. We're all getting old. No more fancy fancy outings and celebrations on every public holiday. Altho, I actually wanted to go Zouk, or have alco. Theres always another christmas to go wild, this year, its nice and peaceful. But sound systems aren't really the peaceful bunch but.. hehe, whatever.

I dont have any other group pictures because... apparently I have friends like Smalls who doesnt send pictures. Hmmph. So...Merry Christmas to everyone... [belated]. NYE...where are you guys heading to this year? Personally, I dont really fancy NYE, because every year I have to figure out which bunch of friends I'm going to spend it with, where am I goin to go and all that crap. Gives me a major headache everytime. Last year's was crap. So plEASe...make my life easier this time?

Hong Kong

Ok, so I came back 2days ago.And I'm supposed to update bout everything. Here's an update. Hong Kong...is chilly, nice weather. Skinny people like me wear 3 layers of clothes. Fatter people like my brother, wears 1-2. I went over to Macau as well. I've never stepped foot into a casino before so that was my chance. Not surprising when the only game I understood in there was black jack. Me is innocent. Well...Macau is colder than Hong Kong, I'm guessing its the wind. From the waves. I went up to see the ruins of St.Paul's church.

Apparently, this church was burnt down back in the days where theres war all the time. So, the rest of the building was gone, leaving behind only this, the main entrance of the church.And it stood by itself for a very long time. Cant count till now, coz i went to the back and people built some metal stuff to support the back.hahah cheater.

Alright, thats aside, Hong Kong too has nice decorations for Christmas. Looks like we here in Malaysia are pretty deprived of decorations. Sigh. Oh, I went to Disneyland as well. The park is awesome. Its just like walking into some childhood fantasy world. If I had the chance to go when I was younger, the time when those shows like Snow white, Beauty and the Beast and all were my favourite shows. It would have been AMAZING. I grew out of it. Now its just people in big suits running and jumping around waving at ya. But its cool. Something out of the odinary. I havent uploaded the rest of the pictures yet. Most of the pictures are in another camera. So, later later.

Statement

Gosh...I have so much to update about. My December is really packed this year. Still missing my Zoukout post, Sayonara camp06, Ferry Corsten round 2 and tomorrow I'm leaving for Hong Kong. Busy busy busy. =) I guess I'll just update all at once, when I return. As for now, Goood Bye all. Will be missing for awhile. Adios.

Singapore Trip

Ok, I am back.Singapore is a pretty nice place, really. Alot of things are very convinient and also efficient. Except for smokes tho. Before I left for Singapore, I've heard many telling me that theres nothing much there and I dont have to stay so long. But I felt that, despite staying over for an extra day, I didnt have enough time to cover everything. I didnt get to see many other things. And most of all.. I couldnt find the damned Manchester United shop. So, I came home a lil dissapointed. Yes, over a man utd shop. Hey, I was actually exited about it ok? Well anyways, this is what I managed to cover. Day OnE, arrived at Lavender bus stop around 3.30P.M. Ohh, I forgot to add, we, Me, William and Rachel actually missed the bus. But we still managed to reach the little island. How? My dearest Fono kor kor, came over to my hse early. He said he was gonna pick us up at around 8 but came earlier to play Dota. There, its starting to get clear how we missed the bus ya? Thats right. He played until about 8.20A.M before leaving the hse. So we rushed there, and bcoz of the traffic congestion in the morning, we saw our bus passed by on the other side of the road. We made a U-turn n chased the bus all the way to Duta stop and so, we managed to catch the bus. I nearly died of panic attack. ahhaha, no sweat, everything was cool.

DAY 1
ok, so, moving on. First day, we didnt do much. Checked in to the hotel and rested till dinner time. We ate at Youth Park, somewhere in Ochard. Didnt stay for long, as we had friends waiting in MOS. So it was Off to MOS right after food. Met up with Rachel's friend, Veron and gang. I went to look for the little girl happily dancing around the table with Lian Meng, Don, Koh Beng, Zhun, Tat, hmm.. I cant remember. It was a whole bunch of guys anyway. MOS was cool. I think the concept is great because, with one cover charge, you can excess the whole of the club. Unlike Zouk here, unless you pay for velvet's cover, you cant go anywhere else but mainroom. So depending on my mood, I cant go to whichever room I feel like, and not worry that some friends are in another room while I'm left all alone in the main room. Yeah, so way cool.

DAY 2
the Zoukout night. In the day, I followed William and Rachel around, and ended up in Lucky Plaza coz Rachel was looking for a camera. I got to play around with the D80. Which now come to think of it, was a bad idea. My craving for the camera just grew bigger.ArGhhh. Well, then we walked out of the plaza and continued walking around Ochard. Coincidentally, we bumped in to Veron. How FatEd.hahaha. We went up to HMV and bought CDs. Oh they have a whole floor for R'n'B Hip Hop and Dance music. I spent 98 Sing on CDs. Okay, After that it was back to the hotel to get ready, and party.

DAY 3
everyone else left Siloso beach at about 5.45 to 6A.M while I decided to stay with Slinky and Gang until around 8.30. Since Rachel n William were the only ones from the same hotel as I am and they left already, I had to go back on my own. I took the shuttle bus from the arena to the carpark area, waited like a Dungu for about 30mins only to realize that the cabs that came in were all on call. So i hopped on the next shuttle bus to the Harbour Front MRT station, took a bus to Ochard, and a cab back to the hotel. All in all, I spent almost 2 hours trying to get back. So sad. Slept abit, and then I took a cab over to Upper East Coast Road, where Fono's godbro lives. I didnt have a hotel room after the first night so his godbro, David was really nice to let me stay over. He has a very nice and cozy home. He's 40. Fono's 30 and I'm 20. heheh. I find the age gap funny. Dont ask me why. Anyways, at night, we went over the the zoo. For the night safari. Saw some animal shows and disturbed the animals when they're sleeping too. hehe, I went with Vicharn, Gerald, Sabrina, Codee and Fono. What do u expect?

DAY4
ZOO. Yes, again. When I told Slinky that, he asked me if I stay overnight in the zoo. hahah.Woke up early for this. Spent the WHolE day there. Seriously, Whole day. from around 11.30 until 6+ The zoo is HUGE! and please, dont be as stupid as me. Long sleeve + zoo = cannot make it. And around 4 plus, it started raining while we were in the middle of the track. So, we we stuck with snakes. We tried to disturb the snakes too, but they're boring. Next, we headed back down to Ochard road coz Fono wanted to get a shirt from Stussy. We all ended up empty handed. After that, we had our dinner at.. MOS burger. I had this... Rice burger. I didnt know what it was. It was actually the bread part of your burger, yeah, its just rice.100% rice. those Jap, sushi sticky rice. Its nice. Ok, So that was my last night in Singapore. It was homeward bound after that.

If u asked me, I'd say, I really enjoyed the trip. And I dont mind going back there again. Since Kailin requested, or begged me to go back down there and she promised to be my tour guide.hehehe. Manchester United shop, I'll be back for you! haha.

The Only Thing That We Share,Is The Same Sky

7 days left to Zoukout... I havent got my bus ticket down and still have no confirmation on where I'm gonna stay. Everything is so last minute. Then again, for some funny reason, I cant really tell if I'm realllyyy exited that I'm feeling some mixed feelings, or I'm just not as exited bout it as before. Or was I ever? Most of the time, I'm telling myself to have fun. What happened to my drive to enjoy myself? Something's wrong with me, these couple of days. Thinking of nonsense and unrelated matters. Can someone tell my mind to stop flipping pages thats dated a year ago? I cant help it, my walls are up and I'm boxed inside the dark. Seems to me, I've sealed myself inside my own tomb. I dont want to get out. I built my own dead end. Why? because I feel safe here where I am.

And though I do stupid things every Thursday, it doesnt mean I'm going to come out. Its just... some kind of entertainment. I dont think I can afford to be who I used to be. There just isnt enough pain killers for one more time around. Now who I am and what I am inside, is a mystery. Would you like to play a game? Why dont you solve it and tell me the answers. Take your time, I wont be going anywhere far. Solve the shit and enlighten me.Educate me.Save me. The grass is greener on the other side? yeah, well I cant see it anywhere.So why bother looking.
