I'm Falling Under Your Spell
Hello... n WelcomE to another edition of "House of High". Held on the 31st of December 2007, it was to celebrate the death of 2007 and the birth of 2008. Not that anyone of us really cared bout the birth and death, we were just looking for a reason to get wasted. Ok...at least that was it for me. So, let me introduce to you, the elements to get high......

The morning after..... I'm too lazy to type out everything. Bottom line is that, IT WAS GREAT!! Except that I didnt get drunk. I know, I know.... you probably dont believe me... ASk them. I want round 2. Maybe I shouldnt have had that butter.... =(
To those who were there, ThanKs for making it happen. I'm sorry, if there was anything that was unsatisfying. I hope that it was as good for you as it was for me. Its my first time hosting something like that,mistakes are lessons. To Carmen, YOU SUCK for leaving so early. To William, YOU SUCK TOO for coming so late. hahaha.

You're the light that leads to harbor
I have just one more event to wrap up 2007. My Penang trip. I have yet to receive all the pictures from everyone. But I guess I'll have to go with whatever I have now before its too late. ok here goes.....
Dec 27th
Road trip begins with Slinky, the driver, Nat and Derek. Had a little confusion on the road but all is good, we made it safely through the rain, run, cars, idiots and some insects. Before our bags were even dropped off at the place we were staying, we went straight for food. And where else, if its not Gurney drive, then you're not in Penang.
Roadside also want to take pictures.... sighhhhh.....
After that we checked into Stella Maris. This apartment/dorm owned by a church. We were fortunate to have a place as most of the other hotels and all were fully booked. That place also saved our pockets. Thanks to William and mama Loh. First night was pretty much indoors and quiet. The gang of Godbros came over and brought alco. We drank the whole night together with papa Loh. As most of us were tired from the ride, we slept off pretty early.
Dec 28th
We woke up in time for lunch...William brought us along with another friend, Shaun who just arrived from Singapore to Swatow(??) Lane. I had some prawn mee, mee jawa..along with little bits n pieces of everyone else's food. hehe.. you tend to get more greedy when you're there. After food, with nothing much to do, we head down to Segafredo's for beer. I guess, its never too early to drink huh? Chilled till around evening, then we went off to Bukit Tambun for SEAFOOD! It was a pretty long drive, as its further out in the mainland. Oh, we stayed over at the island btw. Yes, loads of seafood...no pictures... Then thennnn..... went back to the Island to QEII. This new..club/bar situated at the harbour.
After alco, nothing better to do, everyone became camwhores. I guess, me included. Not that I really wanted to.. but everyone was so in the mood...soo....no harm yah?
I REALLLLYY... got kissed by them.. uGh.

The following day, we woke up, had lunch at Gurney Plaza.Slinky and Nat had to go back early so they left. I opted to stay behind and catch the later ride home. Wanna make full use of my time in Penang. Its not everyday that I get to go up there. So I stayed with William, even managed to have the Kuih Kak that I've been craving before heading back home with Yinyi.
I think there are loads more pictures I'm missing but oh well... cant make this post too long! Summary enough.Wooo... I'm done with 2007!!!! Next, the NYE party at SuCasa. I count that as 2008.

Two Worlds Torn Apart
I'm not even done with the 2007 events yet. All my unfinished business. Ok.. I'll make a quick one. Beginning with Christmas. 2007 Christmas was the first year I celebrated with my family. Every other year, its just another excuse to go out to join in some party somewhere. Destination? Genting.
Santa came in a form of a wrinkly "old" man who came to fix the computer.
why "old"? Bcoz he doesnt want to admit that he's old. The older he gets, the younger he wants to be.
Dinner was turkey, ham and sausages.
I saja gatal, took pictures with a knife at their throat... is that like..some pantang thing?
Stupid me forgot the tripod, had to use whatever available. Everyone was too hungry, no one bothered to pose for another shot, so thats the best group shot I've got.
After dinner, we went up to the peak to check out the lights, deco and all
It was SOOOO foggy, cant see much
I pumped up the Iso to 1600, and.. I forgot the shutter speed. Anyways, I just like how the back lights looked like its some kinda explosion while the subjects, me.. and bro n nephew are still not over exposed.
On the way down, we took the cable car. My sister is afraid of heights, she hugged the pole and hid her face the whole way UP and DOwN.
We came back down after the "countdown".
Had the... jello.. something like that. It was so cute. it had Snowmens and candy cane and all
mom cut the snowman's body. Everyone got emo.... because the snowman was headless... or bodyless.haha
It was pretty good. So.. yea, that was my Christmas. Boring...but ok la..... acceptable.
NEXT.... Penang trip....omg.. need to wrap up 2007 already.....so lagging.
