Where Do You Turn, When You Can't Buy It

Wokay... its time for the post mortem of the recent Singapore trip. More like annual trip. First and foremost, I need to say that.. this is my 3rd year, traveling down south for Zoukout. Based on the past 2 years, it gets better every year. I was hoping the same could be said, for this year. Furthermore it was Above & Beyond. My ultimate favourite DJs. Well.. I'll tell u later on, what my verdict is.hehe.

Alright! first up, we began....from the night before? The Penang gang came down to KL a night before which was, Friday. Hung out around Pyramid, had Korean BBQ for dinner, and then to Sid's Pub, for Snake Bite! I think I might have had a LITTLE too much, swallowed the foam at the end, and threw up half of my last pint. Went back home, and continued a little bit more. Woke up the next day with a bloody hang over coz I forgot to drink water before falling asleep. Rendavous point was at Centrepoint McDonalds, for breakfast. I had...Porridge...yuck. And so, by 10.30am, we were off!

Arrived, late evening, checked in, forced myself for a 15mins power nap, dress up, rushed, stressed and carls jr. But, all is good, the moment we entered! The attendance of the night, was incredible. This years event was amazing just by having the company by itself!!

Melbourne picture! of all the people that are and have been to Melb! =) Of course, we're missing out the usual few goats...Wish u were here, guys.

Oh, our 1 year anniversary! Time flies. I reckon I lost weight compared to last year...haha err.. cant say the same for the one next to me tho. hehehehe =p

Our FiRst Zoukout! No.52345345 Sharp photo. This one in particular, is a cooool photo.Good job, squirrel!

Ms. Dubai. Who... SADLY missed A&B by half an hour! hahaha.

Raining Trio! We're still missing you, Slinky! You're always with us. Sorry bout the..slightly evil expression.hehehe

The 2 who made my night..... Jono and Tony... We miss you, Paavo! Guess, no one needs to guess how I felt that night now, right? In short, no words could express how I felt. Song after song, it was like a big tidal wave, hitting me, one after another. Breath taking! And not to mention, I was close to tears AGAIN. Up till now, if anyone asks me what I thought about the night, all I can do is let out this... sigh.. with a big smile. Thats what you call, a satisfying smile! =)

On Monday evening, as we bid our goodbyes to our very nice neighbouring country, we travelled back to Melaka, for dinner! Satay celup!

It was good! albeit my stomach not being in the best conditions. Another memorable trip to wrap up this year. Maybe its because more than half the entourage this year were the same from last years. It kinda makes everyone feel so....i dont know... bonded? Its like everything we did, we think about what happened exactly a year ago, and we wished everyone happy anniversary. Ahh ok... I dont know what I'm mumbling about here, all I wanna say is that, its been a good year all in all, I guess. With the new friends and all. Well... thats gonna go into the next post. A reflection post. =) till then.....

What can you believe in now
With no love to follow?
Now that you have lost yourself
Oh, can anything help you now?

Just let your fears go
You might find your way back home
Let your fears go
You might find that you’re not lost

The Night Is Young

Its been 5 months since I first left KL for Melbourne. And in that months, I've seen and I feel, I've done quite alot. Which explains why time flies by so quickly. I'm gonna take this moment to recall what I've done and seen over the past months. WARNING!! If you are on quota, I suggest that you are sure you have enough.hehe.

SO.... In the first WEEK that I arrived in Melbourne, I visited this place called Bubbles.

Obviously, something very out of the ordinary for me. It was not too bad, just no my kinda thing. =)

Then the good news came. In August, they were gonna start trance nights on a weekly basis.

It was called Infinity and it was held at Queens Bridge Hotel (QBH) and I have no idea...if its really a hotel or not.hahaha. Well, anyways, our joy was short-lived. It closed down after just 4 short weeks, due to fights that led to 2 deaths. Oh well.. it was good while it lasted.

We also had several visitors coming over to Melbourne both for work and leisure. First one came in a form of...an old man who is... young at heart.hehehe Uncle Fono.. Cant recall if I took pictures =p (sorry kor!)

The came miss Ng, who swapped flights with other ppl to come visit me. Chapel Street is EviL, no?

Then it was shannie's 21st bday dinner. I think people who lives in the suburb has alot of friends... maybe the further you stay the more friends you'll have. Frankston's quite far right? ehehehe

And then after her dinner, we went for drinks at this bar that closes late, little did I know, shannie cooked up a lil plan for me. I was surprised and touched. Thank you people!

Not too long after that, Eugene the Lamer came over as well, for 2 weeks. In that 2 weeks, there was alcohol almost every single day.

It was also to celebrate all 3 of our birthdays. September babies yo!

We celebrated at Seven, and I was never so FuCKed, in my LIFE! Really drank my brains out.

During the same time, we went on a road trip as well. To Mt. Dandenong! Stopped by midway to check out the tulips, as they say, during that time, flowers would be nicely bloomed. Well, the girls got pretty excited bout it. But flowers, are just flowers.Oh well...

And up to the peak we went...beautiful scenery...good weather...

Group picture....

Oct 4th 2008, Godskitchen!

We survived Godskitchen! If i'm not mistaken, we were there for 9 hours. Event ended at 7am and we walked 15minutes or so to the nearest train station. That was the hardest 15 minutes of my LIFE! at 7 Degress wearing shorts and polo shirt. We are the champions!

After Godskitchen, there were no events left and we were back at Seven on bored, quiet weekends.

this one, was for Melbourne Cup. Theme night, something like that. Should have seen me in a suit! hehehe..hmm... there is another event....Halloween... which I choose not to post it up,coz every idiot has had a good laugh at it! no no... moving along.....

And then November came. We had MORE visitors!

3 little monkeys came for Global Gathering, 22 November 2008

We went on another road trip. this time. Phillip Island. Also added to this trip is another visitor from NEWCASTLE. So we had, 2 Williams, A squirrel and a Panda.

That was all good fun. And with the end of that trip, it was also time for me to go home. So yes. I'm home. I have been for a week. hehe. So yeah.. that was a very long way of saying that I'm back. I'm missing the good old Malaysian FOOD. So lets go EAT! =)
