Breathe in this moment it's come and gone

Alright alright.. I'm gonna do this. Once and for all. hehe...Feels like im on some kinda assignment. ok here goes.... ZOUKOUT! 07.

Day 1
Group gathered at Mcdonalds in Bangsar for lunch before pushing off. At approximately 1130 hours 3 cars departed for Singapore.

At..... I cant remember what time, we arrived at Tuas check station. this picture was taken by Noel, who got too bored sitting in the car that was moving 3 meters per minute.

After arriving at the Hotel,[the hotel was D.O.D.G.Y btw.. but its ok.] took a quick nap, dressed up and headed over to vivo city for dinner. We had... CARLS JR!!!

There were ALOT of ppl, so the food took sometime to come, and I was starving. I actually finished my burger. If you didnt know, their portion is rather...huge.

It was still a little early to go inside, so we stopped by a bar to have some drinks, as the drinks inside would be pricey. We had..2 bottles of vodka.

Shared among THIS big group, so basically, its not enough. It was only enough to give me a headache....why..?? bcoz potong stim.


When we arrived inside, these crazy Kambings, one meow were already inside strutting to the mambo tunes.

So I hung with them while everyone else went and buy drinks. Somehow I lost the other group.

These ppl... acting like THAT..before anyone even got drunk. tsk tsk tsk. haha. Btw.. I didnt really pinch his nipples. hahaha. Good camera angle, thats all.

TOP's Off! Must be close to Armin's set already..cant remember. Armin's set was THE ONSSSSSS. Since I wasnt around the velvet arena to catch Steve Aoki's set, Armin's set is the set of Zoukout to me. All the crazy big vocal hits, coupled with the slow change of sky color, played at the perfect timing, oH my God.... typing this just makes me have withdrawal symptoms *shudders brrrrr*.

We stayed till about 7ish. Coz they didnt want to get caught in the human traffic jam when everyone exits at the end, so we left at the end of Armin's set. Good thing I insisted on staying for a LITTLE bit more. the ones who left right after "falling" missed Paul van dyk's for an angel and Delirium, silence. HAh, THere you go. Thank me for my good sense. hehehee. How can you walk out on a good set?! its just not right.

So... does this count as Day 2? does right?

Day 2
Ochard Road/ Clarke Quay

We woke up around 3 ish? Some got up earlier, some later, I got up a few times coz Juliana made the aircond crazy, I was sweating like mad the first time and freeeezing the next time. Damnit man.. should have taken a picture of the SAD room we had. I feel like im up there taking drugs and banging prostitutes. Not that I did anything like that, its just the feeling you get when you're there. Okay, so we got up, went over to Ochard Road for.. what supposed to be lunch, ended up we went for dinner at some Indonesian restaurant and then went over to Clarke Quay for more drinks. We went to this place called Brewerks. Its a cool place, it makes their own beer. And.. football was on. Arsenal lost that night. ahahahah. After that we were being all tourists and walked around Clarke Quay, eating ice creams. Uncle Fono, William and Ju went for that Gmax thingy. The reverse bungee and Swing.. crazy shit I tell you. I was on the ground but I was excited as hell. Yeah anyways, it was an early night....

Day 3
Singapore Zoo.....[again]

And what do you know? it RAINED AGAIN this year. That also I sensed something wasnt right. i didnt want to go to the zoo the night before, but had no choice coz everyone's goin. tagged along anyhow. So yes,it rained, like a bitch and we got some pitiful umbrellas to fit 8 people. We all got a tad bit wet here and there.

We found this shelter area by the lake and its apparently a smoking zone, so we camped there and camwhored while waiting for the rain to slow down. What to do la... 8 people... and god knows how many camera.

uhh... modern day charlie Chaplin? There's a continuation for this. its like a series. But I havent got all the pictures from everyone. Too many cameras...too interesting of a model.hahah ahem.

SPARTAAA~~~~!!!

The zoo, marked our last moments in Singapore. Then its back to Malaysia....We decided to cut costs and have dinner in Johor.

WHATT a meal it turned out to be. I think we had about 7-8 dishes? and the bill... you wouldnt believe it... 98 bucks. HOLYYY SHIT... I think we need to go johor for food more often. Food's cheap there why aren't ppl there fat..? hmmm....

Hang on Hang on.... You think after Johor we would be heading back to our home sweet homes, but NO, Chriz suggested that we go over to Melaka for food, and since Derek's mom is in Melaka, she offered to stay with them. Without thinking for long, we all agreed to spend a night in Melaka. We spent the night chilling in a room, talking nonsense, LamE jokes courtesy of Chriz until 6 am.

Woke up for lunch at Jonkers Street.Ate almost everything they have there. The mandatory Chicken Rice Ball... then cendol... then different asam laksa, some green furry ball.. i dont know what it is... then stayed around until dinner time, we had satay celup. After that, it was homeward bound. Ok...with that... my Singapore trip ended. NExt.... Langkawi trip. =)

A very productive holiday aint it? haha. Cya

Theres No Beat Without You

Holy hell.... It took me 2 days to finish uploading the pictures. I dont think its tHAT many... but well.. we all know the power of our TMNET.So yeah,back to my post. My recent trip to Cambodia.21st- 25th November 2007.

Flight was at 7am... something like that. It was a bad morning, nearly missed my flight, got majorly fucked by my sister..bla bla bla, Shall not go there. So yes... arrived at Siam Reap around 11am. Siam Reap is an hour behind, so I keep getting the time wrong.

First thing we did, was go to the hotel, dumped out bags n started searching for food. My first meal in Cambodia, this soup noodle with beef. Hmm... I must say, it tasted alil weird, but the soup is addictive.

Next was a visit to the silk farm. You know... where they make silk....?

yeah....these lil fella make them silk. Kinda gross to think about it, we're wearing these lil wormy's saliva. Anyways, to cut things short, I were explained all the steps to make silk. A process that requires alot of skill. Those people are good.

K, moving along... we went to see this place where they do, wood and stone carvings. Again.. those ppl are really skilled. So patient....

See the little Buddha heads..? hahah so cute. They're all hand made. I havent seen a single Machine in that place. I wanted to bring one home... but err err err... forgot why I didnt. Nvm...

Next.... oh, at night already. So we had buffet dinner at this place that had some cultural performances. So, yeah, you get to eat like a pig..while being entertained by some peasant dance. Woo...

Day 2

Welcome to Angkor Wat..... no actually this isnt Angkor Wat..thats the Tomb Raider place, I forgot what was the name. I just like that tree, standing on top of the building. Interesting, how it got up there.

They ALLLLL have amazing carvings on the wall... not just the wall, the doors, pillars, door frame and all. CRazY I tell you, the ppl last time have too much free time in hand. Everyday wake up and carve wall.

Oh here's another view of that tree. I dont know if the tree started from the bottom n grew up the building... or it started on the top and the roots went down south.hmmm.....

Anywaysss.... Thats.. my sister, looking all small inside one of the chambers. Dont know why they built such a high ceiling, were men THAT tall last time? hehehe

That.... is one of the tree whos life is being suckEd the hell out by a parasite. Apparently, if that tree dies, then the building might collapse because the tree roots are holding it up, preventing it from crumbling.

See... the other parts,without good ol mr tree to hold the walls up... they're all gone. What a waste, there are more nice carvings inside.

Next, this orange thingy is a temple for the ladies. Bantey Srei, If im not mistaken, not too sure bout the spelling. But yes, its for the ladies to pray... or something. God know what a lady temple is for.hehehe.

THIS..... is one of the 7th wonder of the world.... the Great, Angkor Wat. Its such a LONG walk to go in there... Have to pass by a bridge... then more walk... then door... then... more walk ways... then library... then this little lake? in front... then only the temple... bahh...

Before reaching the building... I came across this lil fella sitting in the middle of the road.. playing with that bottle. Obviously... Monkeys arent like other animals. I disturbed it by putting my shoes near its face, it came after me. I dont know if it understood english, But i said sorry and it left me alone.ehehehe.

Uh...do I need to tell you that... its me? Ok well.. thats.. me.. with loads of pillars at the back... and on my.....right is this really long wall with some Hindu stories carved on it. Something bout Ramayana bla bla bla. You know, the one in our sastera back in school. thats if you remember.

Angkor Wat, is like... a box in a box. Theres that outter box, which I was talking about...with the Hindu stories, and in the middle of it, is this "box". there are more Buddha statues inside, but unfortunately, the head is missing from most of it, some of it taken by the ppl to sell, some said its because of the different kings in the past. Some were Buddhist followers, some were into Hinduism. So... fight la you know... need not explain.

K... next temple. This one I remember the name. Its called Bayun. Not too sure if I remember the spelling.hehehe.Sorry.. I am badd at spelling.

From far it looked like some termite's nest.

But up close.. you see the face of Buddha carved into the walls.... They're BIG. See... kinda cute right?

Yeah.... over 1000years with no fingers to scratch, lemme give you a hand there ay?

Day 3

To the great lake, Tonle Sap. Things like these, you've only ever read about it in the history books or whatever... but the lake... is really huge.....felt like I was at SEA when I was there. Except, there were plants and TREES in the water.

Oh, got to visit their lil croc farm. See this lil fella smiling for me? too bad I know he's gonna die, his skin and meat exported to China. But he doesnt know that... ignorant is bliss. =)

The fish farm, croc farm are run by the people who lives on the lake. I think they called them the boatman? boat people? something like that. They literally live on the boat. Its like this lil SAMPAN, with added roof and walla.... a home. Some of it had TV inside, some even have pets. Wonder where does the dogs poop....

Aight... back on land... we headed to the street they call, pub street. Thats where all the restaurants, bars and pubs are located.

We went to this one called, The Red Piano. Its where Angelina Jolie had her meals when she was shooting Tomb Raider. its Khemer food, which also means Cambodian food, if you didnt know.

Back at our hotel, we saw these bunch of bikers from Britain. They were on some charity mission. We were told that they started cycling from Saigon in Vietnam and this was their stop. At our hotel. Those ppl are cool man. We cheered and clapped for them from our balcony.heheh support support!

For dinner, we went back again to pub street, but this time being more adventures, we tried their street food. I had fried noodle with beef. Thats the picture at the bottom, the top one is Fried rice with pork. Oh yes they have PoRk everywhere.But I prefer beef.

I reckon its something like our Maggie goreng here, but theirs is SOOOO much better....and cheaper too. Oh, I'm missing it now already.

Day 4

We headed down to the river, which is pretty close by to our hotel as well, to watch the boat race. Its a mini version of the big dragon boat race in Phnom Penh. There they have about 50 people in ONE boat, in Siam Reap, its only about 20 per boat. They race 2 by 2... so it was ok, i think. Nothing really interesting.

But the people there, must love it. There were SOOOOOO many people everywhere, kids were in the trees...seriously...

After that, we went to this place called the old market. Its like our pasar seni or something, coz they sell all sorta things outside, bracelets, statues, magnets, paintings, bla bla bla, you get the picture. But inside, smacked in the middle of it, is this market place. I smelt fish from a distance and was wondering what the hell it was. Guess when they call it the market, its no joke.

did some last minute shopping, bought BOOZe... oh yeah didnt mention that booze there are CHEAP LIKE HELL, seriously...CHEAP LIKE hell...Oh and also because of that, we drank everyday while we were there.hehe. K... continue... uh.. dinner we had it at this restaurant called the Indochine restaurant. I had...beef again. But mine was AWESOME. beef never tasted so good. Everyone else had pasta but their eyes were darted at my dish. I have a good eye for food la, leave me alone. Drank some more that night, slept for about 3 hours bcoz my bro forgot that its an hour earlier in Siam Reap, thus setting the alarm...an hour earlier. grrr..... So... woke up at 4.30 AM.... packed...had a few bites of breakfast before leaving....... and...

Homeward bound by 8 something am. It was a good trip, cheap alco aside, really...Wouldnt mind going back there again in the next few years. Lets give it time to grow. Cambodia is such a poor place. At least places like that makes me appreciate whatever I have here now more.haha. Ok, thats the SHoRtesT possible way I could make this. I took over 420++ pictures for that trip... and I think its less than 30 here? Not too sure.. ok... thats all folks. Hope you're still awake reading this point. Adios.

If I Dont See You Anymore

Ok... first I'm all busy with work, nothing interesting happened for at least 2 weeks of my life.. and suddenly I have too many things I have not blogged about. This shall serve as my reminder. First, I have.. my Cambodia trip. Then...the Red Arrow air show at TUDM, and then Maison with some of the abroad fuckers...then then...ok la, I think thats the more interesting parts. Right now, I need to sleep.

Voices In My Head, Wont Let Me Be.

Yeah yeah.. Monday was the end.... IF I had finished it.. Sigh.. and I thought, by today, I would have been able to throw it all away and go get a drink to let loose. Guess not. Shit....JUSt KILL mE lAaaa...I think I really have suicidal tendencies now. I lost count of how many houRS have I been awake. Maybe it would be easier to just count the number of hours I've slept.... Ok, lets see... marathon began Friday night... but that I slept coz... I was over confident. I THOUGHT I could finish. OK So...rephrase that. Marathon began Saturday night..., I think I slept for... maybe 3 hours. Then Sunday....No sleep at all.Unless you count all the short 15mins-30 mins nap in between rendering...Which probably makes up to an hour or 2. ThEN came Monday...no....not yet. Its Tuesday today right? I've kinda lost my sense of timing. What has been going on in the world? I feel Lost... and I feel 80 coz my backs all aching, not to mention my butt too...

So so so back to my hours of sleep..yeah..... that makes...5? 5 hours in 2 days. Wow...not bad. I'm amazed at myself. haha..*pats self*... Oh ignore me... I'm abit whacked out in the head right now. Its not really processing properly. Ignore the dots too... I dont know why.. but I just felt like putting alot of dots..kinda explains the way my head's working in soME weird way....yeah..er... k... I think its done rendering....back to work. *waves*

Suicidal Jeolousy Has Become MeEeeE~~~

They're coming home.. and Monday WILL BE my LAST day. It WILL be.... *chants be strong be strong!!* This will be the last hurdle....*summons great power* Anyone wanna help? Or C........Bomb LUCT now.. so that all other works will be destroyed. Yeah..that sounds good. hahaha. Okay.. needed a moment to lighten up. All that work is making me suicidal. I wasnt wrong bout what would happen after we got the assignment brief for that video clip. *I aint slithing my wrist I aint slithing my wrist!* LOL....okok.. back to work.

The Game, The World Stopped To Watch

Well, I'm sure most of you know about the big game over the weekend. I think even those who do not watch football heard about it. Arsenal against Manchester United. This is really slow. haha. But Man...was it a good game. It was such an intense game for me. Firstly because Arsenal has had a good run this season being in good.if not top form. While Manchester, still slowly recovering from those stupid 1-0 wins. I dare not say anything, neither did I put in too high hopes of winning. I figured, if they could hold them off and draw, I'd be satisfied.

And then came the 46th minute, Rooney struck from the right, and it went it. OMG. I realised I might have been the only one standing up jumping around, but I didnt care. Holy Hell. The half time whistle blew and I had some time to chill.

I'm still not sure who's goal is it. Some said, its Rooney's and some said, it was Gallas's own goal. Not sure, But whats for sure, its a goal to Man utd.

But I knew... it aint over. Feeling alil more confident, but it aint over. And I was sooooooo right. 3 minutes into the second half, Arsenal scored. Fabregas to be precise. The way I look at it, it was Man Utd's mistake. BIG mistake. I blame it on Wes Brown. But thats just my opinion. Now you know why I have a jersey with a no.6 but has no name. Thank freaking god.


Moving along, When Louis Saha was substituted, I was more than relieved, I was excited. And I was right again, he made an impact. Passing a nice ball to Evra, and Evra getting the keeper's attention slided the ball into the center for Ronaldo. Oh man.. another superb moment. And I thought, that COULD just be it. its in the 82nd minute. just HOLD ON DAMNIT. HOLD ON!.... There I was counting down the minutes,with each passing minute I get more n more tensed. They then announced that 3 minutes have been added. I felt it was such bullshit, because nothing happened during game time why should they add so much?

And then came this moment where it was really messy, and everyone around was screaming because the ball was goin left and right center and all the Arsenal players are all up, and then EVERYONE, EVERYONE thought it was safe. When Joel suddenly turned around and said "ITS A GOAL!!!!!!!!!" we were all stoned, looking at him like " wtf are you talking about?" And its for real......the video reply shows that, eventho Van Der Sar managed to stop the ball from entering the net, he didnt stop it from crossing the line. Damn the refrees are sharp, this time. So.... there you go... one of the most, exciting matches, most.....FINGeR Eating, smoke-till-your-lungs-collapse and hair pulling matches. It was disappointing, no doubt, I'm a UNITED FAN DAMNIT.... but... it was a good match. And like I said.... I would have been happy with a draw.... and a draw they got.

Jeebus.... I'm so emotional when it comes to football. gahhhhh. Arsenal has a way of spoiling our fun huh, Liverpool fans?Damn Fabregas, why are you so damn good?
