Komodo Bbq!

Over the weekend, the Komodo Ninja had a barbecue session at one of the member's house in Shah Alam. It was also to celebrate anoThEr member's birthday. Happy Birthday again Nangsat!

There was SOOOOOO much food, I aint kidding you, can feed the whole kampung ok!

They started the fire around 5.30pm and it only stopped at bout 4ish am. Thats almost 12 hours of bbq!

And the best part..... the food didnt even finish. There were like... bout 50 people there that night. The only thing that kept running out was the beers. We finished 7crates, if i'm not mistaken. MADNESS!

The heat from the bbq pit was too hot for me, I decided to sit across at a neighbour's house to feel some fresh air. And thats me.... being really "healthy"

There were lots of camera's around that night. MOSTLY were canon! yup yup. All in the family.

Oh... and MORE pong.... Thats Andrew or freakass and Nangsat. That was a game of lefty versus righty.

Basically the night just went on that way.... cook, eat, sit, drink, walk around, pong,skate, scooter, talk cock, pong again, eat, drink, walk around.... u know the drill. LAter on, when people started leaving, we proceed into the house as the aircond was on, tried to finish up the spaghetti sauce and Sityin suggested that we camwhore using my DLSR! I thought it was a crazy idea. My camera is freaking heavy k.... and I was so afraid that it will drop.

Turns out... it wasnt TOO Bad! hahahaah altho I need to work on my facial expression... coz I was concentrating too much on holding up the camera, my face chow tut. This picture above, was the best result so far. The rest... cannot make it. hahaha

As the usual, I'm always the one getting bullied.

AND THATS ME REFUSING a drink. ok... I didnt want it. But it sure looks as if I had both my hands on the can. But Its not.... look closely... One's trying to feed me and one's trying to move it away. I'm innocent. ehheeh. This is proof k... that I can refuse drinks.hmmm.... But maybe I should have had more.. because by the end of the night, I had a massive headache. If I had more.. it probably wouldnt have hurt. But oh well, it was quite a massive party and it was good. Even for me who didnt know half the people there. Komodos, you rock!

Waaaheeyy~~! Just had to say that, ABOVE & BEYOND was totally ROCKING!!! It was by far THE BEST club night I've EVER HAD. Absolutely amazing. Now I just needed to get it off my chest. Coz I still cant get over it, and I dont have pictures to post up so I shall just update about some old overdue stuff. Penang. Penang part 2 for me.

Penang trip began on the 19th of January for me, the day after Marco V. Still all hung over, I drove up to Penang because little miss Juliana had to go home. I guess Wirriam trusts my driving enough to take his little sister home. Mind you, I've never driven so far out of KL before. No.1 Its my first time driving that kinda distance No. 2, it wasnt my car No.3, I was still a little hung over. I was a little scared, honestly.... But all was good, the journey was shorter than expected. With only one stop for petrol, we took only about 3 hours to reach Tambun, where we had dinner. So, I stayed with William's family for a week until the rest of the kambings came up for the weekend the following Friday.

The whole KL group....minus the monkey on my left. Stayed at Stella Maris again, this time we got the apartment.


And what do we all do best in Penang...? Yeah, eat eat and eat of course. First night, our dinner was at Gurney. Apparently there are some Penang virgins, so we "de-virginized" them. lol. Went over to Gurney plaza to get some food, snacks and drinks. The alcoholics in me n Jue came out and we bought ourselves a 12-pack beer. Nothing much the first night, only me, Joel and Jinyin stayed up late drinking while waiting for Jue to return from... I dont know....she went out somewhere.

DAY 2!!!

We went to town with the help of Danny-lorong and Teng Han.


Ate some CHICKEN,Cendol,noodles, rice, and other shit loads of food. Then disaster struck, halfway thru lunch I got a call from William saying my car brokedown, of course I didnt believe him. I was determined to not be fooled by him. But unfortunately, its for real. My FREAKING radiator burst in the middle of Ipoh and he got stuck there. Mixed emotions, and I lost my appetite, I was half pissed coz I JUST serviced my car the week before, confused because I couldnt believe it and I also felt really bad that my friend is stuck in Ipoh by himself. SIgh... so after food, everyone went down to Ferringi beach, I was a lil moody but it was okay.

Volleyball took my mind off the problem.... my arm hurt too much!

can you believe that the BOYS were the ones playing with the sand castle shit? This is proof. So much for your macho men.HAHAHAHAH.

At night, after dinner, William finally made it back up to Penang to join us. Plus Teng Han, Jay Jay and Samantha, Danny and Elaine. Elaine didnt stay very long tho. We bought beer. LOADS of beer, we had to go to 2 different 7-11's because we wiped out all the beer in one outlet Anchor STRONG is the shit.

Ahh, it was a good trip. Of course, Penang didnt end for me the next day. While the rest of the gang headed back home, I couldnt leave just yet because my car was still stranded in Ipoh. So, I extended another week in William's house. I only got back to KL on the 2nd of February. 2 weeks in Penang. And everyone here thinks that I'm migrating over there. Take it easy ppl. its just 2 weeks. hahaha. But it was all good. I had alot of fun, despite being stuffed with vege and fruits everyday. I wake up early every morning and sleep early almost every night. I was "assistant coach" to the little kids. I got to watch a swim competition. I had no smokes or drinks while I was staying at the house. Achievement, yes? I think its a DAMN good change. haha. Thats all, folks.

I have just one more event to wrap up 2007. My Penang trip. I have yet to receive all the pictures from everyone. But I guess I'll have to go with whatever I have now before its too late. ok here goes.....

Dec 27th
Road trip begins with Slinky, the driver, Nat and Derek. Had a little confusion on the road but all is good, we made it safely through the rain, run, cars, idiots and some insects. Before our bags were even dropped off at the place we were staying, we went straight for food. And where else, if its not Gurney drive, then you're not in Penang.

After that we checked into Stella Maris. This apartment/dorm owned by a church. We were fortunate to have a place as most of the other hotels and all were fully booked. That place also saved our pockets. Thanks to William and mama Loh. First night was pretty much indoors and quiet. The gang of Godbros came over and brought alco. We drank the whole night together with papa Loh. As most of us were tired from the ride, we slept off pretty early.

Dec 28th

We woke up in time for lunch...William brought us along with another friend, Shaun who just arrived from Singapore to Swatow(??) Lane. I had some prawn mee, mee jawa..along with little bits n pieces of everyone else's food. hehe.. you tend to get more greedy when you're there. After food, with nothing much to do, we head down to Segafredo's for beer. I guess, its never too early to drink huh? Chilled till around evening, then we went off to Bukit Tambun for SEAFOOD! It was a pretty long drive, as its further out in the mainland. Oh, we stayed over at the island btw. Yes, loads of seafood...no pictures... Then thennnn..... went back to the Island to QEII. This new..club/bar situated at the harbour.

After alco, nothing better to do, everyone became camwhores. I guess, me included. Not that I really wanted to.. but everyone was so in the mood...soo....no harm yah?

The following day, we woke up, had lunch at Gurney Plaza.Slinky and Nat had to go back early so they left. I opted to stay behind and catch the later ride home. Wanna make full use of my time in Penang. Its not everyday that I get to go up there. So I stayed with William, even managed to have the Kuih Kak that I've been craving before heading back home with Yinyi.

I think there are loads more pictures I'm missing but oh well... cant make this post too long! Summary enough.Wooo... I'm done with 2007!!!! Next, the NYE party at SuCasa. I count that as 2008.

Breathe in this moment it's come and gone

Alright alright.. I'm gonna do this. Once and for all. hehe...Feels like im on some kinda assignment. ok here goes.... ZOUKOUT! 07.

Day 1
Group gathered at Mcdonalds in Bangsar for lunch before pushing off. At approximately 1130 hours 3 cars departed for Singapore.

At..... I cant remember what time, we arrived at Tuas check station. this picture was taken by Noel, who got too bored sitting in the car that was moving 3 meters per minute.

After arriving at the Hotel,[the hotel was D.O.D.G.Y btw.. but its ok.] took a quick nap, dressed up and headed over to vivo city for dinner. We had... CARLS JR!!!

There were ALOT of ppl, so the food took sometime to come, and I was starving. I actually finished my burger. If you didnt know, their portion is rather...huge.

It was still a little early to go inside, so we stopped by a bar to have some drinks, as the drinks inside would be pricey. We had..2 bottles of vodka.

Shared among THIS big group, so basically, its not enough. It was only enough to give me a headache....why..?? bcoz potong stim.


When we arrived inside, these crazy Kambings, one meow were already inside strutting to the mambo tunes.

So I hung with them while everyone else went and buy drinks. Somehow I lost the other group.

These ppl... acting like THAT..before anyone even got drunk. tsk tsk tsk. haha. Btw.. I didnt really pinch his nipples. hahaha. Good camera angle, thats all.

TOP's Off! Must be close to Armin's set already..cant remember. Armin's set was THE ONSSSSSS. Since I wasnt around the velvet arena to catch Steve Aoki's set, Armin's set is the set of Zoukout to me. All the crazy big vocal hits, coupled with the slow change of sky color, played at the perfect timing, oH my God.... typing this just makes me have withdrawal symptoms *shudders brrrrr*.

We stayed till about 7ish. Coz they didnt want to get caught in the human traffic jam when everyone exits at the end, so we left at the end of Armin's set. Good thing I insisted on staying for a LITTLE bit more. the ones who left right after "falling" missed Paul van dyk's for an angel and Delirium, silence. HAh, THere you go. Thank me for my good sense. hehehee. How can you walk out on a good set?! its just not right.

So... does this count as Day 2? does right?

Day 2
Ochard Road/ Clarke Quay

We woke up around 3 ish? Some got up earlier, some later, I got up a few times coz Juliana made the aircond crazy, I was sweating like mad the first time and freeeezing the next time. Damnit man.. should have taken a picture of the SAD room we had. I feel like im up there taking drugs and banging prostitutes. Not that I did anything like that, its just the feeling you get when you're there. Okay, so we got up, went over to Ochard Road for.. what supposed to be lunch, ended up we went for dinner at some Indonesian restaurant and then went over to Clarke Quay for more drinks. We went to this place called Brewerks. Its a cool place, it makes their own beer. And.. football was on. Arsenal lost that night. ahahahah. After that we were being all tourists and walked around Clarke Quay, eating ice creams. Uncle Fono, William and Ju went for that Gmax thingy. The reverse bungee and Swing.. crazy shit I tell you. I was on the ground but I was excited as hell. Yeah anyways, it was an early night....

Day 3
Singapore Zoo.....[again]

And what do you know? it RAINED AGAIN this year. That also I sensed something wasnt right. i didnt want to go to the zoo the night before, but had no choice coz everyone's goin. tagged along anyhow. So yes,it rained, like a bitch and we got some pitiful umbrellas to fit 8 people. We all got a tad bit wet here and there.

We found this shelter area by the lake and its apparently a smoking zone, so we camped there and camwhored while waiting for the rain to slow down. What to do la... 8 people... and god knows how many camera.

uhh... modern day charlie Chaplin? There's a continuation for this. its like a series. But I havent got all the pictures from everyone. Too many cameras...too interesting of a model.hahah ahem.

SPARTAAA~~~~!!!

The zoo, marked our last moments in Singapore. Then its back to Malaysia....We decided to cut costs and have dinner in Johor.

WHATT a meal it turned out to be. I think we had about 7-8 dishes? and the bill... you wouldnt believe it... 98 bucks. HOLYYY SHIT... I think we need to go johor for food more often. Food's cheap there why aren't ppl there fat..? hmmm....

Hang on Hang on.... You think after Johor we would be heading back to our home sweet homes, but NO, Chriz suggested that we go over to Melaka for food, and since Derek's mom is in Melaka, she offered to stay with them. Without thinking for long, we all agreed to spend a night in Melaka. We spent the night chilling in a room, talking nonsense, LamE jokes courtesy of Chriz until 6 am.

Woke up for lunch at Jonkers Street.Ate almost everything they have there. The mandatory Chicken Rice Ball... then cendol... then different asam laksa, some green furry ball.. i dont know what it is... then stayed around until dinner time, we had satay celup. After that, it was homeward bound. Ok...with that... my Singapore trip ended. NExt.... Langkawi trip. =)
